Working safely for our employees, customers and in our community

In all that we do, putting the safety of our employees, our customers, their home workers and the wider community, is our primary objective. We are guided by recent legislation and guidance from The Welsh Government.

The guidance, Keep Wales safe at work, is Workplace guidance for employers and employees during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. For example, it set out general guidance, ways to mitigate risk, assess risk and health and well being.

  • assessing risk
  • specific advice for your industry
  • talking with your workers
  • who should go to work?
  • protecting people who are at higher risk
  • getting into and leaving work
  • work area
  • moving around
  • common areas
  • good hygiene
  • information and guidance
  • PPE (personal protective equipment)

The Health and Safety Executive has produced useful advice for employers and their staff about how to work safely from home during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

For our employees & Home workers

  • work from home if they can
  • make the workplace safe, including staying 2 metres (6 feet) apart where possible ('social distancing' or 'physical distancing')
  • Mitigate with PPE when needed
  • avoid busy commuting times on public transport where travel is essential, and wear a face covering
  • wash their hands regularly

For our customers

  • Only one visitor
  • Wash hands with sanitiser
  • Use a face-covering or mask
  • Stay 2m apart
  • Mitigate with PPE when needed
